I want to remind you guys that leadership camp is about 5 weeks away. I would like to have at least 2 huddle leaders from each school attend this year’s huddle leader training. The deadline to receive 50% off their fee is to have their registration complete by Friday, May 18th. You can register by clicking here. Attached is a flyer that you can also print off and mail in.

We will be providing transportation from Tri-State Fellowship Church in Hagerstown, MD. Once registered you will be contacted by our summer camp staff to discuss transportation details and answer any questions they might have.

This is the last week to register for FCA Power Camp at the price of $100!

• Praise God that two students are attending the FCA Leadership Camp from Boonsboro High School for the very first time because of the camp rally at North.
• Praise God that 26 coaches attended our legacy breakfast and the paper did an awesome write up about legacy groups. 
• Praise God that a parent called me to thank FCA for the letter Mike sent her on her athletic achievements.
• Praise God for the training last week and the spiritual emphasis that FCA is taking with new staff.
• Praise God for our summer camp staff and for the great start on their fundraising.

On Thursday April 26, FCA hosted a Camp Rally at North Hagerstown High School where Lee Rouson and Rick Knepper both spoke and shared about their camp experience.

On Friday April 27, the FCA Coaches Ministry hosted a Coaches Legacy Breakfast at Panera Bread in Hagerstown, MD. The Herald-Mail wrote up and article about this past weeks events.

April 26 | FCA CAMP RALLY

Come out to our FCA Camp Rally at North Hagerstown High School's Auditorium. We will have two former professional athletes giving their testimony as well as some live music and we also will be giving away some scholarships to 4 different FCA Camps.

APRIL 27 | COACHES LEGACY BREAKFAST

This breakfast is for coaches who are involved in a legacy group or who are interested in finding out more about a legacy group. If your a coach, you need to be here. FREE COFFEE at Panera Break and special guest, Lee Rouson will be speaking as well. Starts at 6:30AM and goes until 8AM.

Summer Interns – God has blessed us with three summer interns this year.

Rebecca Morgan – Is an Elementary Education Major at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She plays volleyball for UNC at Pembroke and has served at Power Camp as a volleyball coach.

Zack Morgan – Is a sophomore at Hagerstown Community College and is looking at colleges for the fall semester. He currently plays soccer for HCC.

Brianna Miller – Is a junior at Shepherd University and has served on the leadership team of the FCA Huddle there.

Praises God for…

12 recommitments at Christ Night, a new updated website, huddle coaches and leaders that continue to lead campus ministry, Chris Pappas passed his real estate license test, FCA volunteers and team leaders, encouragement, filling our golf scramble so quickly with golfers, a strong leadership team, Cory Forsyth joining our summer staff and for Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross.

Pray for…

• Continue to Pray for the Pappas family and their granddaughter Lilly. 
• Pray for Doug and Kelly Grove and for God’s healing. Kelly has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. They have three young girls 6 and under. 
• Stacy is now experiencing more foot pain and is having more problems; Dalton has been having lower back pain. Both of them will be visiting the doctors this week and throughout the month. 
• Pray for all of our huddle coaches that God will give them wisdom on how to lead campus ministry and getting next year’s leaders signed up for Leadership Camp June 8-10. 
• Pray for Mike Leiter and the golf team that God raises the funds needed for scholarships this summer. Pray that the event goes well and the weather is according to God’s divine will.

Dear Coaches,

Jeff Duke is coming to Leadership Camp!

I want to give you some awesome news! Jeff Duke, the creator of 3D Coach is coming to Leadership Camp to teach the Coach’s Track the weekend of June 8-10th. This is only a few hours from here at North Bay Adventure Camp in North East, Maryland. You do not want to miss out on sitting under the teaching of Jeff Duke personally. He is awesome!

The reason that I am writing to you this evening is that we may only have limited space available for this weekend of 50 coaches to attend and I know it is going to fill up VERY FAST. If you think that you would like to attend please get in your application ASAP! I would hate for you to miss out because you waited till the session if full.

If you have any questions, please call me anytime. I have attached the brochure for you. Make sure you sign up under sports coach and not huddle coach.

Note– you can upgrade your room assignment for an additional $50 for hotel style accommodations.

Team Captains Track offered again this summer!

The fastest growing part of our leadership camp is being offered again for team captains that would like to learn how to lead their team biblically! If you have any questions about this track at camp please call me. I have also attached a flyer for you to distribute to other coaches that may be interested in this training for their team captains.
